RSA.COM SUPPORTS LOCAL CAUSES

RSA.COM SUPPORTS LOCAL CAUSES

Being a local brand ourselves, we know just how important it is to support local events, institutions and charities.

Supporting local businesses and causes is a great way to contribute to the growth and success of our community. By choosing to invest locally, we’re helping to create jobs, boost the economy, and preserve the unique character of our community and country.

We back the Miss Gauteng Exclusive Program

The Miss Gauteng Exclusive program is not just another “Beauty Pageant”, it is a pageant coupled with a 6-month long, intense growth program, and they have a clear mission to become known as a preeminent organization that empowers young women.

Young women with great morals and ethics have been identified by Miss Gauteng Exclusive. They narrow down their Finalists and when their voting lines close, the contenstants will then embark on a growth journey with Miss Gauteng in an effort to become the next Gauteng Youth Ambassador.

Beauty pageants have been a popular event for decades, with contestants competing for the coveted title of “Miss” in categories such as Miss Universe, Miss America, and Miss World. But beyond the glitz and glamour of the pageant itself, many of these events also serve a greater purpose – to raise awareness and funds for a specific cause.

One such pageant is the Miss Gauteng Exclusive Program, which has been held annually for the past 4 years. This pageant not only crowns a winner but also serves as a platform to raise awareness and funds for women’s empowerment. This cause is an important one, as it successfully discovers young women with strong values and ethics that help their local communities flourish.

The contestants in the pageant are not only judged on their physical beauty, but also on their intelligence, talent, and dedication to the cause. Throughout the pageant, the contestants participate in a number of events and activities that help to raise awareness and funds for the cause. These may include charity events, community service projects, and educational programs.

The pageant is not just about the contestants, but also about the community. The pageant encourages and empowers people of all ages to get involved in the cause and make a difference in the lives of those affected.

In the end, the pageant not only crowns a winner but also helps to make a positive impact on the community and raises awareness for an important cause. The pageant is not just about physical beauty, but about inner beauty, and the ability to make a difference in the world.

So next time you hear about a beauty pageant, remember that there’s more to it than just a crown. These events can serve as a powerful platform for change and make a real difference in the world.

Why it’s good to support a local fashion brand like RSA.COM

Why it’s good to support a local fashion brand like RSA.COM

When it comes to fashion, it’s easy to get caught up in the fast-paced, globalized world of big-name brands and designer labels. But as consumers, it’s important to remember the value of supporting local fashion brands. Here are just a few reasons why it’s good to shop local when it comes to fashion:

  1. Supporting local economies: When you purchase from a local fashion brand, you’re supporting the local economy and helping to create jobs in your community. This is especially important in today’s challenging economic climate.

  2. Unique designs: Local fashion brands often have a unique aesthetic and sense of style that sets them apart from larger, more mainstream brands. By purchasing from a local brand, you’re more likely to find one-of-a-kind pieces that truly reflect your personal sense of style.

  3. Sustainability: Many local fashion brands are committed to sustainable and ethical production practices. By purchasing from a local brand, you’re supporting a company that is making a positive impact on the environment and society.

  4. Personal connection: Shopping at a local fashion brand allows you to connect with the designer or creator of the clothing, allowing you to know the story behind the clothing, who made it and the quality of the clothing.

  5. Community building: Supporting local fashion brands helps to build a strong community of fashion enthusiasts and creators. This can lead to more opportunities for collaboration and networking, and can help to build a vibrant, creative fashion scene in your local area.

In short, supporting local fashion brands has many benefits, both for the local economy and for the fashion community as a whole. So next time you’re in the market for new clothes, consider looking to your local fashion scene for inspiration. You might just be surprised at what you find!

RSA.COM THE BRAND DRIVEN BY URBAN CULTURE

RSA.COM THE BRAND DRIVEN BY URBAN CULTURE

While the rest of the world looks to streetwear trendsetters in New York, Tokyo, London, and Seoul to keep up with trends, it is South Africa’s own urban culture tastes that are driving much of this brand’s identity.

As an emerging Mzansi-based fashion label, RSA.COM took to the runway to debut our 2020 Winter Collection. The show’s concept looked into the finer points of representing domestic streetwear and the definition of pop culture among the plugged-in, post-90’s generation.

The excitement was heightened by a performance by American musician ElleB, who was also dressed in our brands’ sports LBD with white trim and detailing and whose presence added an international cool factor to the event.

Endorsed by both Brand South Africa as well as Proudly South Africa!

Following the official launch of our winter 2020 attire, Naomi Moleme at Just Trimmings spoke with our founder Ntombezinhle Modiselle about RSA.COM and our 2020 winter collection!

As RSA we want people to wear out clothes to identify themselves.

The clothes are made in such a way to mix-and-match and create a unique style for yourself. That’s the thing about streetwear when it comes to defining your personal style, and we hope to be apart that moment of people being authentically themselves in how they make our pieces work for them.
